Plant Detail      
This oil comes from the peppermint plant that grows in Europe and North America. It is one of the oldest plants and herbs in Europe, whilst also being well known in ancient Japanese and Chinese history.
Origin and History       
Peppermint Oil was recorded back to 1000 BC, and is found in several pyramids in Egypt. It also is known in Greek mythology where Pluto transformed the nymph, ' Mentha, ' into peppermint.
