Clove Bud Essential Oil tastes spicy, warm but slightly bitter, in character almost woody.

Features

  • Clove Bud Essential Oil is purified steam from the clove tree's flowering buds.
  • There are also Essential oils for the clove stem and the clover leaf.
  • This evergreen tree grows up to 15 meters in height. It has red flowers and green leaves.
  • At the beginning of the rainy season, green buds emerge and are taken from the tree until they develop and dry in the light.
  • The tree must be 5 years old before adequate essential oil can be generated for extraction.

Origin

  • The clove plant is believed to have originated in Indonesia, especially the Moluccas, also known as the Spice Islands.
