For years, our eBay shops, alongside our Amazon Store and website, formed the backbone of our business. eBay, in particular, was once the source of 80% of our revenue. However, the tides have changed. Recently, we've seen our revenue from eBay dwindle to almost nothing, whilst the costs in advertising and transaction fees have become unsustainable. After much deliberation, we've made the tough decision to pause operations on one of our eBay shops. Our main account is also under review and may follow suit unless we see a significant turnaround.

This shift might sound daunting, but it's also an opportunity—a chance to innovate and focus on direct sales through our website. As the sole remaining member of the Mood team, I'm fully committed to steering us through these changes and am reaching out for your support.

A Fresh Focus on Direct Sales

Our pivot away from eBay doesn't mark the end of our journey; rather, it's a new beginning. We're doubling down on our direct sales efforts and exploring new ways to enhance our offerings. This is where I'm excited to introduce two new products for our community of candle and wax melt enthusiasts. For the first time, we're offering 1kg bulk packages of an extensive range of scents. Sourced directly from the factory, these products represent a unique opportunity for us to bring something new and exciting to you, our valued customers.

It's important to note that, with this direct sourcing model, there will be some adjustments, such as slightly longer lead times and price variations based on quantity. We're navigating these changes with transparency and a commitment to quality.
