How We Price Our Essential Oils

At Mood Essential Oils, we believe in full transparency with our customers. We know that pricing can be complex, but we want you to understand exactly what goes into the cost of each product.

Pricing Breakdown

Here’s a clear breakdown of the costs that go into pricing a typical 10ml essential oil bottle:

• Cost of the Essential Oil (per 10ml): £0.98
• Cost of Packaging: £0.10 (per bottle)
• Cost of Labels: £0.05 (per bottle)
• Postage Cost (Standard Royal Mail 2nd Class for 2 x 10ml): £1.55
• VAT (on Sale Price): 20% of £4.92 = £0.82
• Total Cost: £2.63
• Profit: £0.65 (after VAT deduction)

Postage Information

For smaller items, we use Royal Mail 2nd Class Large Letter service as standard, which currently costs £1.55 (including VAT) for up to 100g. For larger items like 50ml or 100ml bottles, we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 service, which costs £3.40 (including VAT).
